On December 28, 2015, procurement contract signing ceremony on MS01 Water-cooled Centrifugal Chiller of State Nuclear Power Pressurized Water Reactor Demonstration Project (CAP1400) Unit No.1 and 2 is held in Gree HQ, Zhuhai. Representatives of SNPTC (State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation) and Gree (明升网址手机版-明升88娱乐场-明升88网站 ELECTRIC APPLIANCES, INC. OF ZHUHAI) signed the contract. SNPTC General Manager Sun Wenke, Deputy Director of State Nuclear Power Expert Committee Sun Changji, Chairman and CEO of Gree Dong Mingzhu and other leaders jointly attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. This is the first nuclear power project for Gree, marking the beginning for Gree to enter into nuclear power market officially, besides, signifying that Gree’s product quality won the recognition of nuclear power station which is well known because of strict standard.
It is reported that MS01 Water-cooled Centrifugal Chiller is the one with the maximum capacity in nuclear power station so far and the core equipment of HAVC system CAP1400. The primary function of it is to provide chilled water for nuclear island air conditioning system and some air conditioning cooling systems in common islands, and provide reliable guarantee for the safety of nuclear island heat generating equipment production and comfort for personnel work environment.
On August 8, 2015, during the appraisal meeting on Mega-kilowatt Nuclear Power Station Specialized Water-cooled Centrifugal Chiller, Secretary General of CRAA (China Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association) Zhang Chaohui thought highly of Gree, “Chinese air conditioning enterprises are moving forward on the way of self-developing large water-cooled chiller products, and we are so proud of Gree being the outstanding representative. The successful research of this unit implies that Gree’s centrifugal technology has entered a more professional segmentation and reflects that Gree’s profound technology accumulation and application ability in centrifugal chiller.
